Check out leasehackr.com - there’s usually good Toyota deals posted on there (especially in the NE where you are).

I just picked up a 2019 Cement TRD Off-Road (MT) and every option for $250/mo. Picking it up Friday. Only thing down was first payment + 9 MSDs ($2250, refunded at the end of the lease).

You can get better than that and mine is 12k - I know there’s a broker on leasehackr out of Philly that was doing these deals as well (I went with a guy in Boston). SR5s were surprisingly not as good on deals as the TRD models were.

I generally lease apartments in cities I’m only staying for less than a year, or power tools like backhoes the I can’t justify the lifetime cost.

For automobiles I have resisted due to the financial disincentive, having instead purchased less vehicle or driven shit boxes until I’ve saved up.

    Check out this thread: https://forum.leasehackr.com/t/best...v4-tacoma-camry-4runner-all-states/106422/450

Basically you can try to get the best deal on your own or (if you’re like me and don’t feel like haggling around with multiple dealers - I have two small kids) you can pay a broker a nominal fee to secure a deal. I worked with a guy in Boston to get me the deal above, but the post in that link is for the guy in PA.

Bottom line - it wouldn’t hurt to text the guy with a vehicle you’re interested in a see what kind of deal he can secure. I took the deal to a local place here and they said “no way” haha

Congrats man - looks nice! Did you end up working with Jim in PA? What did you end up getting for terms?

I actually did go with Jim. He was a breeze to deal with. Ill never lease another car any other way. Solely because it was just lightning quick. And I didnt have to sit in the dealership and listen to their bullshit hot air for 6 hours; all to get bent over. I was literally in the dealership for 8 minutes. Truck was waxed and ready to go. And this was after 90 mins of talking to Jim and a few texts with the dealer (who he had call me). It is literally magic

He has some good deals on Tacoma’s and 4runner’s. I’ve messaged him before but ended up just working locally with a dealer myself. Next one will just go through a broker, worth the fee to not have to do anything but sign and drive away.

He asked me not to give a specific cost. But for this truck with a 40,500 sticker i was in the $2xx.00’s. With one monthly $2xx payment as a down payment and thats it.

Black is nice. If I had to do it again I'd go black.

If you are leasing in Florida, go to Bill Tracey at Stadium Toyota in Tampa. I was there for just over an hour. The Stadium website has an express store on the menu. You can get prices on all vehicles and you can alter term length, down payment, miles per year, credit score and more. Prices are great.

Completely agree ... there’s no way I lease on my own again - it’s so worth the few hundred to have someone lock in a deal like this and also not have all the hassle with dealerships.

Glad it worked out for you.
