For those of you that have either retrofitted the RX350 projectors yourself or paid someone to do it and maintained the black rubber boot around the projector on the back of the headlight, could you post a picture. I am pretty close to doing the BHLM and rx350 retrofit and this is one area that is stumping me. Thanks in advance!

Anybody? Just need a quick pic of the back of your headlight where the D2S plugs in.

You'd want to snip around the inside lip so it's easier to get to the bulb retainer clip.

Thanks a bunch! I appreciate the help! I do have a spare set of those rubber boots.

I found another great solution I thought I'd share. Fernco 2" Quick Cap.

How well do either of the above caps work to keep crap out? I just removed my fender liners and I've been running no boot for a while now with no issues, but now the headlights are exposed to all kinds of debris from the road, I don't want to ruin them.

They work quite well. I cut the holes slightly smaller than the d2s connectors so it's a water tight seal. Also the caps stretch and hold tight to the back of the headlight housing.

Good to hear. Home Depot has quite a few of those in stock for cheap too!
