I'm sorry to ruin your day by asking a question in the development thread. I am glad to not be offended by such trivial notions.

Fuel cut is at 6800 rpm. If you're having an issue, do not remain on the beta tune. Regardless 7200 rpm wont hurt the engine. We have tuned ours to 7500, and the camry revs to 6900 stock

bummer, aside from that one issue everything else about it has been great compared to all the 1.05 tunes i tried. any idea where the smell might be from? literally the only time ive got a burning smell from the truck in the 45k miles i've put on it.

    thanks.

Just had my ECU updated from B030 to B040 at the dealer. Once in p5flash, I am unable to Identify, Flash It, Read DTC, or Clear DTC. All the icons are grayed out, and am unable to do anything expect see my name in the box. Anyone come across this yet?
Now that I've got the update, I'm trying to OvTune to 1.05 87 base with B040. Thanks  I am running ToyFlash 1.0.0

I am about to have the dealer apply TSB T-SB-0062-18 to go from 4A60 to 4A61 and take advantage of the 4A61 Beta release on Aug. 24th.

Will I need to get another registration key from OVTune?

The only time you need a new reg file is if you change laptops (for dongle-less, dongle users can change laptops w/o new reg).
Or a new truck, you'd need one for a new truck.

Okay I am still having the same issue. This is after running both Toyota Flash Manager 1.3.0, and ToyFlash 1.1.0 as Administrator. The problem that I'm still having is after opening ToyotaFlashManager. Click on Tuning, click on P5Flash Utility..Nothing happens. Just reads "Ready" on the bottom left.
If I open ToyFlash 1.1.0, Identify, Flash It!, Read DTC, Clear DTC are ALL unable to be clicked.
Still trying to update to 1.05 with B040, but this is the first time I've seem this happen, I've been tuned for quite sometime:frusty:

    Try updating FM.

The current version of ToyFlash is 1.2.2.

Close ToyFlash. Go to FM Help menu and click update. If that doesn't get you to 1.2.2., then go here and download:

If you have a usb Dongle you have to use PCMFLASH not Toyflash.

Try reinstalling your reg key. If you're still having issues you'll need to email support@ovtune.zendesk.com .

If you have a windows 10 machine and it updated to a new build that would change your system ID.

Okay thanks. I upgraded the hard drive on the laptop to a Samsung SSD, but used Macrium Reflect to clone the drive so nothing changed except for the speed.
How would I go about reinstalling the Reg key?
    Much appreciated btw.

if you changed hard drives, your system ID likely changed even thought you cloned the drive as the hardware has changed. If you still have the old system ID you can see if its still the same. If it isn't, you'll need to request a new reg key

yeah i'd be careful about that, unless his engine was smelling at 7500rpm like mine did and thats considered "normal"
