    The only coyote I saw was after I’d put up the guns and had just gotten back on pavement as I was approaching the highway entrance. SOB ran across the road and stood in there in desert about a hundred feet away as if mocking me.

    Just curious as laws vary by state.

    That was just a glamour shot back at the truck. I call them in.

    I don’t even know the answer to that as I’ve never even thought about it but I would think it’s probably ok out here in the middle of nowhere. These coyotes get harassed by the local ranchers pretty heavily though. They’re smart. They see a truck coming and usually they’re gone without even looking back.

    yea..we both drew unit 34, this winter. the Christmas hunt. i'm sure he will be hitting that bowshop again..soon.

    not sure how i feel about bowhunting Cloudcroft the week before Christmas. hehe. i am gonna freeze my ass off.

    It’s not that bad. But then again I’m used to northern Maine/Upper Peninsula winters so...
