    Nope ... you give that side of the river to the bear and go to the other side. I've literally fished one side of the Russian River while two young brother bears (2 or 3 year olds) fished directly across from me. As long as there are fish in the river they'll keep their distance and fish for themselves, until some nitwit human lets his stringer get more than arm's reach from him ... and the bear gets them. Then the bear learns an easier way to get fish, and will usually end up dead.

    Bears aren't the problem, humans are. :mad: :(
