Any idea how many days it usually takes?

Not sure but I figured 4-5 days(250-300 miles a day on trail) would probably work plus a day each way to get there and home. Might be a little ambitious though. Its broken down into like 7 sections so if time took longer you could end short and hit paved roads to save time. I've been looking at this site for it https://ridebdr.com/nmbdr/

Theoretically I could + a few days on either end of that week but would hurt the pocketbook if I took more than a couple extra.

I was able to do the full 575 miles of WABDR from Thursday at 5pm to Sunday at 1pm, two full days of driving and 2 half days where the sunset at 9pm and stayed light until 10pm. 250-300 miles a day might be a bit ambitious.

Appreciate the input I thought it might be a bit ambitious. Tonight I found a motorcycle group that offers a 7 day tour/trip to complete it doing 85-200 miles per day. Not being in a tour group or knowing what kind of time difference there might be with motorcycles vs trucks(could go either wlonger or shorter for all I know) I figure you can cut some time but probably not going to shorten it by 3 days unless its going as fast as possible with no stopping. It would probably be more enjoyable at 6-7 days on the BDR.

Would definately be better to not rush and if you stopped short then you would just want to go again to finish.

Trip planning started recently. Heres the initial plan for any who might want to join.

9/16- Meet up with @n0troublen0fuss in Terlingua and camp at Terlingua Ranch Lodge.
9/17- Make the drive to the Christmas Mountain Summit and then make our way to BBRSP.
9/17-9/18- Camp in BBRSP and explore the park some.
9/19- in the morning we can explore BBRSP some more and then start making our way towards Austin. Still need to find a place to camp this night.
9/20-9/22- Spend the last few days of the trip meeting up with fellow TW/TTC members for the 35's are the new 265's Hidden Falls Birthday Bash!

If anyone knows of a good place to camp between BBRSP and Austin I would love to here some ideals and start figuring out where to camp that night.

Getting by, been out of work sick 2 days this week with an upper respiratory infection. I went to work yesterday and it kicked my but trying to get through the day. I'm off till sunday now and started meds on monday so should be better soon. Really need to get some work done on the truck that I've put off for way way too long.
How have you been doing? Have a good time fishing with your dad for his birthday?

I been well, thanks for asking. Just busy!

Fishing with pops last night was a lit of fun! Was pretty slow bite but enjoyed it a lot.

Theres showers at Hidden falls so we can always shower there and also likely showers if we stay at a camp ground. I'm cheap and with 2 dogs I have to find ones that will allow them. I would also need to bring their crates for the hotel room. I dont trust either in a strange place to not have an accident.

Looks like a cool place but thats a little farther out of the way than I would like. I would likely rather stay at BBRSP another night over going there, Its only an hour farther drive to HF's. I'm not really finding much so it can be an option just to be able to see another place.

Put some new shoes on the truck Friday. We'll see how I like them in the long run but so far they seem good and much quieter not being an M/T like the previous MTR's. Heres the only pics I grabbed so far, Nitto Ridge grappler 285/70r17 c load.
