I just wear a old pair of Vans. It’s what everyone recommends for pedals.

Basically flats grip the peddles better.

You keep saying flats. Is that literally just a regular pair of shoes?

This speed work totaled 6.25 miles.

Thats not sprinting. But its also not a long run either. Long runs are double digits.

    LOL sole*

I thought biking used shoes that buckled into the pedals??

Some do. Some don’t. Street bicycles definitely do. I’ve seen plenty of people in mtb trails with clips ins too though. I would probably die lol

I’ve only done a few spin classes before I gave up on biking for life. I know that was better if you had a shoe that clipped in because you push and pull

I make some weird concoctions to hit my macros. Haha. This one has turned into a favorite. Probably have it twice per week.

    Chicken breast
    Potato
    Carrot
    Egg
    Cheese
    Red curry sauce
    Siracha

Clips are buckled shoes basically. The bottom of the shoe clips in to the pedal. Makes it where your feet don’t go flying off in rough terrain but also means you can’t kick your foot out to catch yourself if you fall lol

That is a fantastic and, in my opinion, underrated program. Everyone wants to start lifting and tries to jump into these complicated (for my simple brain) bro splits. SL gets the job done and provides for a great base if you want to jump into all that stuff later.
