Guys what is needed to clear 285’s. I have 2018 sr5 dc. Spacers or coilover/ hybrid kits I don’t care. The dealerships do 3” and 285’s in my area and look great. LOOKS IS ALL I WANT.... and occasional snowy roads/ dirt roads. I WILL do UCA for sure they are a must I know, and will be changing my rims as well.

So at the very least a top hat 3" lift (readylift or whatever), SPC upper control arms, ECGS bushing, and rims (lets just say sema 17's)

Even then they can still rub at max caster, so the cab mount chop still happens. But the rubbing is waaaaaay less with upper arms.

Snoop around and look at other peoples builds on here.

Thanks for the replay much appreciated man! I really think a ready lift sst of RC lifted strut system will be ok for me. I’m new to Tacoma’s. I traded in my 08 Tundra for this Taco. On it I had a Zone 3.5 adventure series UCA lift. Worked just fine for a daily driver that get maybe 10,000 miles on it a year.... at best! Lol

17x8 with 0 back spacing and 3* caster is a good start

I have the RC lifted strut system. I am running 287/70/17's no clearance problems at all, no rubbing.

Any issues with RC lifted strut system?? I’ve been eyeing that kit for awhile now and think it’s a good bang for your buck deal. I will add UCA for sure.

None and agreed. Not for serious off-road but better than stock on the SR5.

    Like, so many.
I leveled my front, have wheels with a 0 offset, did the CMC and pinch weld, and trimmed inner fenders. No rubbing.

I had to remove mine. Added disposable flares to compensate.
