    V6 auto and the guy that owns it now got it with 230k miles and used it for school and never took it off road. The owner before him I don’t know anything about

    If you are mechanically inclined, it is probably worth it. But you have to know If you use it as you've stated, you are going to be putting time and money into it. And I'm not just talking about springs and shocks. It is 17 years old vehicle with 300K on it. You can expect every piece of rubber, hoses, bushing, etc to need attention of you off road it even a little.

    I'm not saying don't do it. Just know what you are getting into.

    Yeah and I’ve also heard that those motor aren’t to expensive. And I have no problem with working on the truck to begin with

    Looks good to me. I would be a little nervous about the auto trans but you said it drove down the road well, so maybe it's solid.

    I'm guessing Oregon by the front license plate? That's where my '00 came from and it has no rust. Vehicles out there just last and last.
