I think someone said its a large switch designed for the space below the cubby (left of the steering wheel). I have a M/T and the no clutch start button is there. I do have available space in the center panel (where the Qi charger is), will the puddle switch fit this size also? @MESO

It’s a small switch per Meso. I was going to run an extension to my ECT slot since it’s hooked up to my shift knob now

I’m thinking this weekend. I have zero experience with this stuff. So I know it’s going to take some time.

No, Stew said it will be the smaller switch size. I have M/T as well and went with a simple replacement that can be redone to fit the switch sizes. (sorry no pics) I pulled the console off and the cubby. Cut a square blank from an old computer chassis, rounded it out with a belt sander to fit the entire top part of where cubby is/was, and dremmeled the hole for the switches. Drilled 4 holes to mount a bolt and nut to secure it, then threw in my existing switches. I'll ask my fam to take a pic if it's asked.

Do you know which wire(s) on the puddle lights side you will need to use to tap into the OEM harness?

Post #6 on the thread below shows how he did it to make his bed lights work in conjunction with his cargo light/switch. I have not tried it yet, so I can’t say first hand.if you aren’t 100% sure, I would recommend just using Meso’s plug and play harness.

Also seems to depend on what build of aftermarket power mirrors you get.
Mine fit perfectly with my OEM covers.

I have already installed the bed lights already, I just need to know which wire needed on the meso side.

The post only mentions the bed lights setup.

That post is all I have to go on. My puddles haven’t came in yet, so I haven’t gotten all into the install yet.

Attempting to keep up and read the thread. Obviously missed the last batch. Has he made any indication when the next wave will be produced?

Installed mine just now. Pretty dope. The proximity sensing function makes me smile each time

The installation was easy. The only challenges were from the truck, not the Meso kit.

To get the harness through the door wire gland thing I pushed a long thin drill bit extension through, taped the harness to the extension and pulled it back through. Worked like a champ and was super easy.
