How were you able to make the OEM bumper work with the Mcneil fenders? How did you line it up perfectly? Any more pictures?

I reckon you could make a couple micro slices in the apex of the bend to stretch it but I don’t know what you’d have to place in each end to keep it that way.

it looks like he did not make it "line up perfectly" but there are some 'glass companies that do make the bumper filler piece.

Is Macneil fibreglass on here? Has anyone talked to them about making the 6' bed sides?

    Well that's dumb of themo_O

I won't buy the fronts if they on't make the rears. There are more 2nd gen Tacomas with 6' beds than with 5' beds!

If they have the +2 for the short box- someone could just take it to a local fibreglass place and have them take a mold off your truck for the part in front of the wheel well and then cut and add the new piece into the short box bed side and have yourself a 6'+2 bed side. Then get a left and right side mold made and start producing the 6' bed sides since Macneil is not interested in making them.

This is common as you stated they make the bumper filler pieces for a reason. Many choose to ditch their stock bumper altogether when they go glass which is likely why they did it with this approach.

Make sure you go to Toyota to get a tech to let you use the antenna key. That thing is a pain in the ass to cut out if you don’t.

I have different brand front fenders but it should all be the same. There is one bolt from the door side and one from the wheel side.

If I recall correctly, these are the bolt locations:

I would just take off everything on the drivers side first so you arnt messing with the antenna although they should be able to either lend or knock it out pretty fast. You will see that all of the bolts around the door area all the way to the lights should be removed. It took me about 30 min to do one side and ten minutes for the other with hand tools as it’s much easier once you do it yourself. Worst case you remove some bolts for no reason.

Yep same here...I started with lining up the door clearance and working my way forward to get the glass mounted.
