At first, plus it would be a side hobby. Also would have super long lead times if I decide to build big things like bumpers

The one thing I was gonna build to sell didnt work out so well. My front clip was slightly tweaked by a PO's fender bender. What works on the front of my truck aint gonna work on someone elses.

Yeah I don't know if something like suspension installs would be worth the time involved, considering you'd have to be a lot cheaper than most shops and depending on the parts they have it could be a solid chunk of your day. You'd have to do more than just that to make it worth it I think, or specialize in more advanced stuff like long travel fabrication and shock relocations, etc.

Once upon a time when my truck was stock and I had a 5100/3 leaf AAL lift ready to go in, I called them up asking for an install quote and it was north of $700. Just for front/rear shocks and a 3 leaf aal, lol. Found a tire shop that did it plus an alignment for $300 instead.

At the time I didn't have tools or a place to do it so I didn't really know what was a good price, but I'm glad I skipped on 4wp. Not only were they expensive but they probably would have fucked it up somehow.

Because there are tons of truck/Jeep/SUV owners that want lifts and 99% of people don't have the desire to do that stuff themselves.

I stuck a Supreme sticker on my Jerry can and my buddy goes “You know that sticker costs $10, right?”
