It would be so cool if it were that easy. The fluid level check has to be done when the fluid temp is within a certain narrow range. (95-113F I think)
So for the dealer to do it they will have to keep the truck long enough for everything to cool down. =all day.

Edit: get a scangauge and do it yourself!

You don’t even need that. You need a piece of wire to jump 2 pins and the dash will light up to indicate that it’s within range

FFS, half quarter? That is a Russian "shot". I don't remember no Russians died from it.
Why would tranny suffer from luck of 200 ml?
    Your statement is laughable.

I believe that 0.5 quart is slightly less than 500 ml.

So, is that actually a significant amount WRT the auto trans functionality?

    It’s more like 500 ml

Go ahead and drain some out of yours and report back.

You don’t have to believe me but myself and others have experienced it first hand.

I see a lot of you talking about TSB's to reflash the computer. I have a 2016. Is this something I should call the dealer and look into before going with an OV tune?

You probably need to. You likely aren't even on a supported ECU ID yet.

I’m pretty sure the OVTune includes all recent TSB’s.... but next time you visit your dealer, I would ask for a ECU/ TSB flash. It does help, but not nearly as much as the Tune! IMO

He’s incorporated as much as he can, but it’s still best to be the latest revision as you get updates sooner and have a better starting baseline

He has a 2016. He potentially could be on 04B01.

You can also do it yourself. It’s pretty simple.

I purchased the truck in Jan of 2016 so I'm sure I have the earliest version. I hate the steelership but guess I will pay them a visit and see what its going to cost.
