My lock kit was waiting for me when I returned from camping. I started into the installation directions but immediately found I didn’t have the actuator mounting screws, the thread locker, or the rubber washers. Are these items I must supply? If so, what is the thread pitch and length?

 

PM me a pic of what you received. Unfortunately, that’s an extreme bummer I had another customer that received his package with a tear and the hardware bag fell out. I’m actually sending him a replacement as we speak. He sent me a picture right away. Things like this happen when dealing with the mail services. I’m not sure what this situation was because every situation is different happy to help if I can.

I do know in the new Kits coming up the Rubber Washers are not going to be provided as I do not feel they provide much of a different at all so if customers want the rubber washers, they will need to provide them.

 

Is this where everyone’s getting these or somewhere else?

Edit: Do these unlock/lock your tailgate with the key fob?

You can get them both places. It’s up to you. You will spend a little bit more on eBay than you do on here. All payment information is listed on the first page of this thread. It’s actually quite a bit easier for me personally to do the eBay orders just because everything is done through eBay as far as the shipping labels and the tracking. There are two kits left on there if you want one I would hurry. They go extremely fast on eBay.

 

Don't bother sending any replacements. I found some #6-32 screws in my misc parts bin. The unit is installed. The only issue was trying to get the harness through the rubber grommet in the passenger floor. I found it easier to cut off the outer sheath at that point, feed just the two wires through, then reinstall the outer sheath for the final run to the connector.

Am i missing something? sorry, i literally joined the forums today. Also I am so glad to see this as i was bummed out that the tailgate did not lock when i press the lock button on my car from factory....

 

You’ll want the whole big complete kit. 150 bucks. Look on page one of this thread. You’ll still need the DSIM stuff and the inside tailgate button.

Ye, it can kind of get really confusing.
Because there is two "Complete full package"
So the Bolt-n-Lock Kit is $95
The Complete Package (Bolt-N-Lock/Open) is $150

And the Bolt-N-Open has no separate only kit, so the complete package or buying the parts separately is the only way to get it.

Having tested out all parts in this kit that you will receive in my opinion it’s a bargain . A lot of work has gone into making sure quality is high and keeping the price as low as we can .
