    We've had a 2003 Tacoma in the family since like 2007 or 2008. It's been a fantastic truck that only needed routine maintenance. Held up to the winters just fine. No additional maintenance was done to this one. Passed all the frame rot tests from Toyota years ago.

    That's great to hear, I really have no clue what real weather is and was concerned because of the known frame rust problem. I just returned the rubber undercoating I had purchased because it entraps/promotes rust. Really just need to get it through a couple winters before its no longer my daily driver. :fingerscrossed:

    Finally getting together with the black 4runner guy tonight. I have cash in hand.

    He needs it gone. It has no alternator belt. I have all three belts ready to put on it.

    My question for you guys is, can i move it 2 miles to my house with no alternator belt? Or should i throw all three belts on it at his work place?

    Does anyone with an 01-04 Tacoma have the cold climate spec windshield molding? If so, could you send me a picture on how it looks? I have the thin molding thats starting to crack and the people who did my paint job did not remove it so its starting to chip. I'm hoping the new exterior molding will mask/overlay where the paint ends.

    Depends on high strong the battery is. Personally i would throw the alt belt on, it's easy enough. The ps belt tensioner is the one that's kinda hard to get to. Do you know why the belt is off?
