They delivered it to the wrong house? I’ve been waiting for it since Santa forgot it at Christmas :(

    Very nice.
I'm curious why you are paying someone to do the install?
    Its literally like 6 bolts.

Because I'm already bringing my truck in to have other work done, also they are gonna wire up the signals and fog lights aswell so it's a little more then 6 bolts. Im going to paint it though so Im still involved in it in some way. The thing is heavy as hell suppose to way 70 pounds but it deff feels alot more. My truck is already pretty bogged down by the lift and wheels and tires. Im thinking I might have to regear now.

Curious how long it took to get it? I've had mine on order since June 10th.

I placed the order end of May. Got it last Monday. It takes forever but well worth the wait. Honestly I think its the best looking 1st gen bumper. My opinion of course. I don't like those big bulky ARB bumpers or the skinny tube style bumpers.

Thats exactly how I felt the anticipation kinda makes it more rewarding. You feel like am I ever gonna get it? Then he comes through and you get that shipping notification and the excitement builds. Did you order it with the stinger/grille guard? What options did you get? Are you going to paint yours?

I ordered the same exact bumper you got. I'm gonna get it powder coated black. Depending on how bright the driving lights are I'm thinking about wiring them to come on with the marker lights.

How much does it cost to get it powdered coated? What's the advantage of powder coating vs. Painting with rustoleom/monstalinar?

When I did my bumper, I used Rustolium high temp BBQ paint.

It's a satin finish and so far has shown to hold up pretty nicely. Did my rock sliders in the same stuff.

I was quoted $150 to have it powder coated, so way more expensive than rustoleum. But I believe powder coating will be more durable than paint. plus I suck at painting stuff. Always end up with runs no matter how careful I am. lol

I got it powdercoated for $75 from a local but he didn't clean the metal very well and it is starting to chip
