Yeah me too, that shelving in the back limits it though. I was back as far as I could be!

It took me 30 minutes pretty easy. There is a pdf from a member who makes it easier than the directions that come with charger

    Ugh....

After installing/replacing the dome light it worked for a few minutes then died, along with maps lights & clock. Anyone happen to know which fuse those are? (At work and not able to check right now)

    Wonder why it blew??

Edit - found it. #22 in the engine compartment fuse box.

Installed a new Sony head unit. First time time doing it my self, seems to work fine, CarPlay and Android Auto are great. Although the time always changes a few minutes after I set it. If anyone has any way to fix that.20190822_084933.jpg

Installed a set of Kicker CS-series 6-3/4" speakers in the rear doors on my lunch break. I've got a set of the same ones for the front doors and the Subaru tweeters should be in the mail today, so those are going in after work. Sticking with the stock SXM head unit and unamplified for now, but the difference in sound quality is already apparent.

Got this in the mail today from AJT Design. Matches my interior climate control knobs. Plus it looks more like a truck fob—whatever that means.

nice! been playing with my android headunit getting it setup and working how i want but that seems to have already improved the sound quality a bit. definitely has more power than the stock unit. I am definitely planning to do new door speakers and tweeters for xmas. I should look into the subaru tweeter, i know i have heard of it being used but was going to do Rockford fosgate all around.

Does this go right over the factory one, or does it need to be taken apart for it to fit in this? Been wanting one

Great so far, very sturdy and the welds are good. And they have a bottle opener!

    Remove your key with ring
Take a coin to open the corner (like your changing the battery) This will open your O.E. Key fob.
Take out entire inside (in one piece) and drop in to new key fob—will only fit one way.
Put the back on (in my case I got the red back).
Screw the 4 screws (in my case these are red) with supplied wrench—just snug.
Attach your ring and key on.
    Your done.

installed a new dual USB switch and a GMRS radio last night, i know it's a "simple" task per most of ya'll but i'm pumped because I have ZERO experience with wiring, and im pretty stoked I was able to complete this small project myself lol just needed to show someone HA.

The Subaru tweeters are made by Kicker and are a direct drop-in for our factory ones. People say they sound a ton better and I'll wager that they do, the stock ones are garbage. I feel there's no reason to go components unless you're really headed down the route of amps, EQs, etc, and will be able to really tweak the sound, play with the stage, etc.

Ran home for a late lunch, confirmed it was a blown fuse (7.5 amp) and replaced it...new dome light only worked again for a few seconds before blowing the fuse again. Confirmed the polarity as the new LED bulb only works when oriented one way.

Tried again and same result. WTF!!

Put original incandescent bulb back in and everything is fine.

    Bad LED bulb?

it does come with an equalizer app. I need to do a little more tuning but uploaded my music library to it.

I bought it off Craigslist and it doesn't have any branding but the closest I've found is made by Westin. Mine has a split bracket where it mounts tho so you don't have to cut the grill. I think it's vehicle specific
