Tacoma looks totalled

I was told by the insurance it is only $6700 of damage and I think it is totalled and looking for a 3rd gen Tacoma.

What do you guys think. Is this totalled or only $6700?

 

My 06 had $12, 545 damage, and was repaired...

 

Not sure only way to truly tell is if the frame is tweaked.

But this makes my heart hurt mine was identical to yours when I first got it.

My guess is more around 12k for that damage.

 

I'd try to get it fixed man, they don't make the second gens anymore I don't think the third gens are as good of trucks

 

If insurance can total out a vehicle they will. My best friend from back in high school is an adjuster for GEICO and that's what he always tells me. So if they say it's not then they must believe it's worth it to do the repair.

Not sure how the adjuster can make that determination without taking it apart...I’m sure there is all kinds of broken shit hiding behind that sheet metal

Yes, the front axle is broken and bowed out at the bottom.

 

The one picture, that is the entire body pushed out from the bed. It looks like the frame is bent.

 

I bought this in 2013 in April, so I have not kept up with the new trucks. This truck has been perfect. It has a lot of good stories to tell

 

Really hard too say if its totaled,you will just have to wait and see.

 

If it is, I am not sure of which Tacoma to get. It has been 5 years since I bought this one.

 

If it was a 3rd gen it would not be totaled
