I have a 2007 Tacoma 4x4 Ext cab. The passenger window will operate fully with the drivers controls but not with the passenger door control switch. I have replaced that switch and the entire drivers main control switch assy. It still fails in the same way. The drivers side window works fine. Yes, i have made sure the window lock switch is off.

    Any ideas?

Almost sounds like a pinched wire somewhere. Have you tried removing the door panel and searching around to see if the electrical wires are being pinched?

I've never had the panels off so i thought a wire problem there was not probable. I will check it out.
    thanks

Check the fuse to that particular window, it has a dedicated one, and when using the main switch (driver's) it shares power from another fuse.

Wow, That was it, your a lifesaver?? I assumed that if the window went up and down, the fuse is good. NEVER ASSUME ??
    Thank you very much
