    This is an e-locker axle housing with an 8.0” e-locker third. I’m waiting for the guy’s truck to get back from the fab shop before I swap for his 4.88 gearset.

    I don’t trust those 8.4” axle shafts. They’ll work, but they’re a tad longer than the correct 8.0” axle shafts it’s supposed to utilize.

    No, they’re longer. The 8.0” ABS axle shafts are shorter than the 8.4” ABS axle shafts.

    They’re too long. It’s possible they will bind on the spider gears.
