New member here! I'm in the Bennington area. Does anyone here know of a reputable shop in VT that I can entrust for installing an OME complete suspension kit? (ARB bumper, 886s, struts all around, dakar leaf pack and UCAs +whatever else I may need). I haven't done much research at this point but not sure how difficult it is and whether or not I have the "know how". For my 2013 TRD sport DCLB that I picked up last week :D

    Congrats on your ride!
Hope someone from around you chimes in!
If your looking for anywhere in vt the 4x4 center gets good words.
    But I’ve never used them.
If it’s not too rusted it’s very doable at home.
I had my front 5100s done at Baileys spring shop in Essex jct.
They do big rig shit and handled my truck like it was jewelry.
I have a local shop I trust to do what I don’t want to do or don’t want to spend the time on the garage floor doing.

Anywho lots of good info here.
Definitely has helped me to keep my ride rolling on the cheaper side doing it myself.

    Welcome to TW.

    I second Bailey's.
Anyone who needs any Upholstery work, I highly recommend Danes Upholstery in W Danville on Joe's Pond. He does anything concerning boat covers, seats, convertible tops, awnings you name. The guy is meticulous and affordable! How does that even happen? He's doing my 95 VW Cabrio top at a reasonable cost. So pumped. The ol girls got almost 60k runs awesome 5 speed. Triple black

Thank you I bought it about 5 years ago from a guy at work. It was his wife's and in excellent shape. Almost sold it when I moved then the top split in the rear seam where they all split apparently. Finding Dane's was a fluke driving by saw his sign. He repairs all sorts of upholstery and his classic cars are show winners. He has a Chevy Nomad that was junk he built from ground up. Old school answer the phone kind of guy who really is affordable. After I booked with him, he wanted to not reuse the rear window seal so asked me to find one since he's so busy save me money if I do it. Had to secure one in Europe for no US dealer had one nor ebay. All seals were used and he didn't want to reuse the seal. So Lavtiva it was lol

    Cool ride.

We just became dog parents and adopted this guy before he was brought to the pound.

    Always wanted a drop top.

My Sister is trading in her '99 Z3 she's had since new.
She had her hip done last year and still has difficulty getting in and out of it.
Wish i can snag it, but too many vehicles in the fleet as it is.:notsure:

Be nice to keep it in the family.
But if it’s not being used it’s not doing it any good.

    So James has passed.
I work with his brother and he put up a hell of fight but lost in the end.
Even in the last days he was proud of his truck and was in it if it went anywhere!
I saw his truck at the stealership today.

I enjoyed the time we spent together!

RIP I'm sorry to hear this news! RIP James. Ugh. Prayers for his family and friends. Was he at that one meet we had a long time ago?

Yes James was the one who put it together.
It was at the graphics shop he worked at in Essex.

I need some VT camping advice. A buddy of mine and I will be traveling through Vermont during a little beer tourism / truck camping trip Oct. 16-21. We’re hoping to camp somewhere near Greensboro (visiting Hill Farmstead) but all of the sanctioned camp sites are closed for the season by then. All I really need is a place to park my truck and set up a canopy tent. Some folks have recommended trying my with state/federal lands once we’re in the area.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

(For those interested, we’re coming from Ohio and we’ll be stopping in Boston > Portland > Greensboro > Burlington > Rochester. Brewery stops will include Treehouse, Bissell Brothers, Allagash, Austin Street, Hill Farmstead, Foam, Alchemist, Other Half and Mortalis.)
