well the time is up for my battery. these toyota batteries are horrible and only lasted me 40k.... so i did some research on getting a new battery. the dealership has the same as the stock ones so i said fuck that... went to pep boys and they got the cheapest battery but only 2 year warranty. am i happy i got AAA. i got a battery for $115, they came to my house and installed it in 5 mins and i got a 6 year warranty!! so if i leave my lights on over night and burn it out, AAA wil replace my battery free of charge!!!

these stock batteries will only last you 2 years.... the lights would turn on but the engine wouldnt turn over, these 4.0 engines need alot of power to get turned.

NO MODS YET! 20" Enkeis with NT420 performance tires coming soon...inspired by genxer36.
I thought the tacoma can shut off its lights automatically when not in use? cars today either have this ability, or they make an annoying sound when the lights are left on.

Interesting... just yesterday, I was washing my 06 Camry and noticed that the factory battery is apparantly over charging. Somehow, the bracket that holds it in place is partially covered in that white crap, which appears to be overflowing from one of the battery's rectangular covers. As it turns out, this condition appears to be causing premature rust on the radiator support, which the battery bracket isattached to. Do you all thimnk this is a warranty issue (car has 72K).

Battery completely dead after 5 months and was replaced under warranty.
On a side note I also had an 07 Corolla and the battery lasted 6 months in that car , as soon as it turned cold is went kaput, also warranty replaced the service guy asked me if I had some type of force field following me.
