Absolute bullshit dicks that have zero clue what they are doing. They got "well-known" by doing bolt on bullshit in a mall crawler environment. If you EVER plan to actually use anything on your truck don't even let those know nothing know it alls look at your truck. All they will do is put shit in the wrong place and booger weld it and call it professionally done. Then you can pay someone else twice as much to undo their ignorance and hope and pray it can actually be fixed and that they didn't absolutely ruin any parts you gave them to install.

Long story short, I wouldn't let them change a tire on my truck for fear that they might catch the entire truck on fire.

Let’s just say they need a complete install pdf instruction for anything that requires them to interpret. Those dumbasses had too much pride to call a Cali shop when working on my truck to verify that my kit didn’t have the needed spacers. They install/welded my long travel rear three times before figuring it out cause they didn’t have the cajones to make a simple 5 min call.

They advertise their specialty is fab work and not bolt on stuff, but I would only go to them if you don’t have any tw friends and your kit doesn’t require welding.

 

Too bad noone around here has the skills to do any of that stuff... guess we just aren't lucky enough to have all the skills the ones further north have...

 

I ride the VRE from the 'Burg everyday myself. Been doing it since the second year it was in operation (1993). Every once in a while I have to drive up and I-95 reminds me of why I take the train.

I had them install the lift on my Tundra years ago. I was pretty much a bolt-on job but I didn't have the equipment to do it myself.

The owner, Lance, quit his IT job years ago and started Iron Pig. Wish I could do that. He is living the dream.

Does anyone know of a mod that will make the map lights turn on when you open the doors? Right now, only the dome light comes on when you open a door. I'd really like the extra light in the cockpit when I get in.

You guys are pretty talented down there. I couldn't wrench/fab my way out of a wet paper bag. On the other hand, you and Chris can do just about anything when it comes to these trucks. I should have taken you up on your offer to help when I first joined the forum!

You would have to cut a wire to the map lights and wire it to the dome. Also would have to leave the map lights clicked in the on position. Test the dome circuit and see if it's a positive or neg trigger and test the map to see what sides pos or neg. If the domes a neg trigger then cut the neg wire to map light and connect it to the dome light circuit.

Actually would be easier to just put a brighter led light for the dome. I got mine from @csjumper2003

I already bought the LED kit from csjumper2003. Thing is, the dome light is basically behind me. I need the light up front where I can use it.

 

or wire up some new lights and fuse tap them to the same circuit in your fuse box as the dome lights. You could mount them in the useless sunglasses holder.
