Some people go a bit off topic, which is fine. But then others unfortunately go way off topic. I know it can be annoying, but just ignore them.

You are hostile man and isn't Toyota selling me a poorly designed part and lying about it cheating me?

Every single message man is just knocking me down. My problem is it isn't a 12 year old part that is failing its a almost new part. I get that shit is going to go wrong man but how am I fed a silver spoon because I expect replacement parts to last longer than a 12th of the originals?

I understand why your pissed. But l don't think it'll go anywhere to complain to Toyota. I wouldn't want a new part to fail a year and a half after l bought it either. But just because l feel that way, doesn't mean it'll change anything. I'd just buy another fan and also fix any other potential contributing factor.

    Good Luck.

Just got a call back I'm officially changing the thread title because i have relearned to appreciate Toyota. So apparently the first time i had this repair they replaced the resistor in the blower and this time they are replacing the harness and the plug. The way he described it too me it was a two part issue and this part being replaced just hadn't gone bad yet

Everyone knows you replace the resistor and the plug at the same time. The dealer is a bunch of morons. Maybe you need to give them the part numbers for the resistor and pigtail.

So, if they only replace the connector this time, it's just going to go bad in a short time, because the resistor is already compromised.

Nah, we can now revisit the real reason why this thread is still going strong, minus the last sentence:
