Same tires have been on the truck since I bought it last October although I skipped a few tire rotations so there might be uneven treadwear on some of the tires. The PO had just replaced them with new ones when I bought the truck. It is for sure all in the steering wheel though.

Could be play in the needle bearing in the front diff on the driver side. Check out this video and also check out the video we link in the video description from East Coast Gear Supply. When you click on the ECGS link, scroll down the page and you'll see the videos they made regarding this problem with the design of the differential housing.

I just did the ECGS bushing last night on my 08, took roughly 2 hours to complete. BTW, a 2 jaw puller with a slide hammer took that needle bearing out super easy. No need for the ECGS bearing puller tool.

Good to know that a slide hammer 2 jaw puller works well to remove the needle bearing. Not everyone is going to own a slide hammer puller but I've found it to be a very helpful tool for removing seals. This is the kit I bought a while back. https://amzn.to/33Qkhyf

I'ma be honest, my truck shook a little at highway speed literally the entire time I owned it hahaha. I always thought it was normal for these things.

my truck handles 90~95 mph like a champ still on a smooth & well maintained highway way out of state, local roads are POS garbage here so even driving the posted speed limit feels hazardous on the original suspension, my back end went airborne again yesterday on a certain Iowa curve by the river, the wet pavement was really wet during a downpour and even caught a little back end slide  when the rear tires made contact with the pavement again. yes I have called that states dept of roads to get this hazard fixed, but that was almost 2 months ago. It is not a heavily traveled road so maybe that is why, who knows

... our current avatars look almost identical hahah

Road surfaces definitely effect wheel shake too. In-sloped vs out-sloped, crowned and tire ruts.

Got mine rebalanced by a different tire shop and now she’s fine to 70 anyway.

I’m having a hard time believing I will have to live with this. I have replaced any and everything that could amuse this but the issue persists. I’m even into a custom 1 piece driveshaft that helped get rid of 95% of the vibes and I think the DS could be balanced a tad better for no vibes, DS balance next. This can’t stick like the 22re tick, it’s got to be fixable. It’s sorta making me feel better that most have the problems too but some say their truck is smooth at all speeds, so I am stuck trying.

I've only had this on a Tacoma. Never on my older Yotas. I've also never owned a jeep.

Yes everything LCA bushings, inner/out tie rods, bearings, lbj’s, rack bushings upper total chaos, balanced tires road force, new engine/transmission mounts new 1 piece DS, Deaver leafs smiling. Then fully rebuilt calipers loade with new pads and rotors, everything it could be it wasn’t, but the driveshaft helped the most put the vibes in only 1 area 70-75 mph. I also get crazy with my maintenance on the engine/trans too.

270k but that’s not the issue I have replaced parts without wear and tried swapping too many things originally. The truck has always been babied and has way more money into it than I should for not fixing this yet, I feel a dyno is my best bet to isolate it to the rear or front, it kinda just came to me right now, lol.

the only input I can offer .. is there a problem with your lift?
i have no lift on my truck and that is 'probably' the big difference between ours :notsure:
    other than mileage of course

Place was a joke, who reuses weight? They get damaged taking them off. Meatheads. Tire Warehouse did it right for me, like a whole different truck.

Nah, I wanna figure it out it’s only 2.5” lift nothing crazy, I drive around the vibe speed anyway because it’s something silly.

I feel alot better that atleast it wasnt just me having issues with 33" low. Bfg already replaced 1 full set for free but still have atleast double the amount of weights and the ride still suck. Any recommendations as far as another set of tires?

The Ko 2’s are butter (at first) then you go from eight ounces of weight to balance to 13+ Ounces. I just don’t get how others on 33’s aren’t having issues or the cheaper tires are just as good for longer, idk.

Both sets were a nuisance right out of the gate. Always seems to me that it's the right front. 4 different mechanics told me I just need to gave then balanced again. One of those mechanics being being a very good friend and riding buddy. He tried putting new outer tierods. Seemed like it was the solution for about a week. Here's the results from my most recent alignment. Not the slightest idea of what these numbers mean. But the red makes me nervous
