Picked up a Body Armor Hiline bumper through Tacomabeast and it came in today so I threw it on the truck. Very happy with how it came out. Fitment was really good and the instructions were really good. Love the new look. Took some pictures along the process. Could prolly do write up if someone wants but here’s about how it went. I’ll be getting a winch and light bar for it at some point but I need tires first. If your not installing a winch this can be done by one person all day long.

Cutting the bumper was way easier than I thought it would be. As long as you follow the instructions the cut lines come out great and fit the bumper well. I used a cut off wheel on an angle grinder to cut it. Instructions say knife or hacksaw but I feel the cut is much straighter with the grinder.

It came with power steering cooler relocation brackets to set the cooler a little further into the truck. Just make sure once they are installed the cooler isn’t rubbing the condenser. Mine was and torquing the oem mount a little fixed that.

The included edge trim is actually really nice I had more than I needed.

Since I bought it through Tacomabeast I got a 30’ BA tow strap and two shackles as well included.

Thanks! That was the look I’m going for nothing over the top kinda stealthy since it’s a DD.

Thanks! I was really hoping the fitment would come out good since I had to cut the bumper.

It looks good. Just a note..had a body armor rear bumper on a '14 and when the powder coat got nicked it seems like the spot would show rust in a couple of days.

Mine came with a bracket plate that bolts to the fairlead hole that allows you to run a tag. If you didn’t get that I would call them up and ask about it

How’s the weight on the hiline? Can I accommodate the bumper and a winch on OME medium weight suspension?

I don’t have an exact weight but it’s not all that heavy. I was able to pick it up and install onto the truck myself without issue. I’m on stock springs so I can’t attest to wether ome’s you have will accommodate it or not

I should be able to do it then. I have a 2” OME medium lift designed for a either a full steel bumper or a winch, not both. I’m hoping that the saved weight will allow me to do both w/o upgrading my suspension

You 100% should be fine it will more likely than not return to the stock look where the front is a little lower than the back. I first installed this bumper and winch on a stock suspension and it sagged a lot so I upgraded to ome springs and Bilstein 5100’s and now it’s level again
