I have no pics or deets other than he told me he could get it for a price
i don't like having to resort to aftermarket corbeau seats but I cannot possibly go looking at these t4r seats or waiting for a limited Tacoma to show up at some salvage yard somewhere not around here! ... been at it for nearly six months now

are there any good places in CA to get my seat fixed?

I can drive halfway across the country to get it done right

makes it easy for me since i live in pretty much the middle of the country

 

its broken somewhere in the frame .... bolt spring bushing,etc
the upholstery is good for its age
have you not been paying attention lol

 

Got serious about buying one back in the day. I wanted it so bad. At 6'2" it just wasn't a good fit. Bought a 300 sedan instead.

 

You need to experience the Benz feeling at least once. Life is too short.

 

i experienced the Benz feeling in a TAXI in Berlin back in the late 90s
it was either thrilling in the back seat or it was not
so long ago i don't remember!

Iirc they dont sell fabric so you can get your seats reupholstered in it. They do sell the slip on seat cover, like you have already. Just need hognose pliers to remove and replace.

 

i found somebody that has a source that bot leftover fabric used from the factory from the detroit book matching ...

i need a custom upholstery job to match my interior if them force me to go with aftermarket seats to keep my ride safe
there is no telling when this busted seat is going to completely fall apart while i am driving it!

 

A transmission problem will take all the fun out of it. I like old cars, but ones that don't cost a fortune to refresh. Time passes so quickly.
