Was 52° when got up this morning at 4:30 to go shoot sporting clays in Wi. Got up to 72°, before long the highs will be in the 50's. Perfect. Great day altogether, despite the heat.

I'm due for new tires at about 52K on my OEM. And if they still made the LT265/70R16 BFG AT KO my Baja came with I would repeat. But may just say the hell with it and buy a Lexus GX 460 instead.

No not yet truck is paid for and stalling on another payment. Had the original Michelin LTX A/T a long time ago and loved them. Never owned the newer A/T2 ones just don't seem to have enough tread for what I need. And I don't run a dedicated winter tire so I need a 3PMSF ranked tire. Looking at the Pirelli Scorpion All Terrain Plus SL but concerned about the sidewalls. Then again I have the buggy for when I need to really go off road now. No free lunch with tires, any tire. You pay one way or another in some department.

One of my first 8 tracks, besides Zep II, was BTO. Another Canadian band I like

That is so wrong.. Everyone knows you don't put a pistol grip on a splinter forearm double trigger Side by Side shotgun, gesh. Had to look at it for almost 10 minutes to find what was wrong :p

This weekend is the kids last fullweekend home before going off to school. Wife told me the battle axe was coming to see her. Guess what I saw when I rolled into the driveway after work today...

So yesterday it was 90 something degrees when I got off of work. Today it was 70. Left work with the AC going.
And it rained for almost 2 hours of my 3 hour drive to get where I am....woulda been 2.5 hours but I was going slower cause of visibility issues and water pooling on the road...anywho... Stopped for gas during the storm, had to sit inside runner because it was so cold and raining so hard. Maybe 45* out then. Turned my heater/defroster on for a bit.
Now I'm just chilling and unwinding in 60*, t shirt and shorts. Waiting for my air pad to inflate so I can crash.
