I've got my Air Soft, my Red Ryder and if that doesn't work and an air horn ready for the next time he shows up. I also have a few other surprises that are a little more harsh, non lethal of course . He was a little too casual seeing me so its time for a little re-education. Yogi's nice to watch but when he sees someone around here I'd prefer he was looking over his shoulder while making tracks getting out of Dodge. I'd like to put my bird feeders back up but I might have to pick up a solar charger and some electric fence supplies before I do.

Had I known you needed OEM mud flaps I would have sold you mine. I decided to order an ABS set with 4WD cut into them from Ebay.

Although I live in Ontario and therefore only use A/C extensively in the summer months, I have always shut off the A/C on my vehicles a few minutes before stopping anywhere. That way just regular air can flow through the ventilation system and pick up any dense moisture inside and dry things out.

The climate is perfect all year, but the traffic with all the tourists makes going anywhere hell! But the price of gas and taxes, vehicle registration etc. is really forcing the issue. Who knows though, maybe things will change and I’ll be able to stay here in retirement. :fingerscrossed:

I live just down the coast from you and one thing I’ve experienced is that when you are retired you have better control over when you travel which makes things easier. I only go to the beach on weekdays, and I try to stay off the roads during normal commute times. Can’t do much about the price of gas, taxes ... but the mild weather allows us not to need air conditioning and we hardly ever need to turn on the heater in our home so that alone is a savings. Just things to consider. Can’t do much about the cost of a home — completely out of control.
