Like I said, long highways stretches, totally understandable. Middle of town where you pass a gas station every other block, no excuse.

I try to keep my truck as near to full as possible at any given time.

 

At least a 1/2 a tank.... enough to get me beyond city limits if necessary.

 

If you’re a stay at home dad and your brain is so scattered that you aren’t cognizant of your fuel gauge, then, as you said, stay at home.

 

Today must be excuse and justification day.

 

It’s a habit I picked up on the job. In law enforcement there is no better way to get time on the beach than to run out of gas on your shift. Especially if it meant missing a call.

 

Speaking of excuses, where have you been all day slacker?

 

In my garage playing arts and crafts with a tube bender and rebuilding others blown ass shocks. Blegh.

I was only able to pop on for a few minutes here and there to pass judgement on others lol

Its been quite a day. That’s why I like this thread. It’s like getting out of work and having a beer with the guys after a shitty day.

 

You can tell, even on here, where people are so simple that the only criteria for what makes an engine better is whether or not the number of cylinders is greater.
