What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

I used the inner DRL. On mine (2015 sport) I have a green, yellow, and white wire. I didnt like the idea of tapping, so i spliced in a short wire and used male and female wire crimp quick disconnectors, so if i remove the lights I am pulling power for I just disconnect it. I have to turn on my DRL to power the lights I connected to them.

looking forward at back of light. You can see the green wire if you zoom in. You may have to pull back the wire loom to expose it.

New TRD pads and Rotors

 

Replaced the OEM Cruise Control stalk with a nice $15 Amazon replacement. Took more time taking the pictures and making sure I discharged the air bag!

 

You really do need all those , with the drivers in our state.

Got my Falken Wildpeak At3w's installed and hit the Denali Highway over the weekend to test them out. Very happy with them for the price. Excited to see how they do on the Fairbanks ice and snow

WA is the most pleasant state to drive- not many assholes zipping through the right lane to pass or, my fav, passing everyone that’s in que to turn right and cutting off the cars in said que to cut the line. I hate driving in FL, they’re special down there

Hmm, I wonder why they won't work with factory LED lights? That would make them incompatible with my truck.

I wondered the same thing but I don’t have OEM LED, so no problem.

 

Test it by setting it to the wrong time and then plugging your mobile into it for a few minutes. I have a Kenwood headunit that doesn’t keep great time and updates itself off of the iPhone when I plug it in to use CarPlay.

Picking away at small projects...today was installing the BAMF LCA skids I got from @Unchained 5150, that were waiting for the rebuilt lower control arms I installed last week.
