Thats awesome man.. Nice trip/story...The Woodward Complex looks SAWEEEET! I could get lost there for a week with no phone/keys/wallet and be totally okay.

 

Thanks! I would love to get lost there too, buuuut at $1500 a week I couldn't justify it. But I suppose I could take a week off of work and work there as staff lol

 

What was the site # that you camped at? That one looks to be a decent size. I'm heading back to Bald Eagle next month to check out some more of the forest roads and sites around Poe Valley.

Last week went on another little camping trip! I had to find a place between our house and Brooklyn that had swimming, so lake tobyhanna fit the bill. More populated than I like, and we didn’t even swim since it got so cold, but it was still a fun time!

Now, onto some pics!

Because we started the fire at 4:30, we had to make a fire run in the other car lol


Overall, super fun, relaxing weekend. Glad we had a spare down blanket, because it got pretty cold at night! If you haven’t been to lake Tobyhanna, it’s a nice little camping spot!

So, I've been very very busy, but if you saw my on my main Instagram @Joel.Wells you'll know why!

I just proposed to my gf, who is literally the best person in the whole world.

I told her I wanted to practice some camera and video settings at the cabin (which is the place that we fell in love) and proceeded to propose there! For the video, check out my as it has the entire clip!



I then surprised her with a surprise sunrise engagement photo shoot at Slieve League.

I designed this ring from scratch, working with my jeweler. It went through about 5 versions, and I'm so stoked with how it turned out. (This ring was shipped from the casting company to my jewler on the 11th, diamonds set on the 12th, and I picked it up on the 13th to propose on the 14th. Talk about timing!)



We celebrated with some champagne!


I also have been busy finalizing our detail for our upcoming trip to Ireland this Thursday!

Below isn't our route, but a rough outline of some of the places we are going. This is mainly to see how much of a loop we'll be doing.



I’ll be eventually posting a ton more photos once things quiet down, but I’m so excited for next chapter in life!

Looks liek a fun time man! They are getting set to open up a Woodward campus in Park City, and I'm stoked to wander over there one day. The renders look friggin insane for MTB and snow sports.
