I just bought TYC headlight assemblies. Should I seal them prior to install??
Can you direct me to a video on how to if they should be sealed?

    Thank You,

A few mods here and there and counting....
Get some marine grade clear silicone and run a bead all around the headlamp. Make sure you get in between the crack between the lens and housing as most aftermarket headlights lack adequate butyl.

I bought a pair of Spyder Headlights in Chrome, Projector Headlights - PRO-YD-TT05V2-LB-C. I’m not sure if I’ll put them on my truck, I’ve seen a lot of negative post about them. I’m thinking about buying a new set of stock headlights.

The only other thing I've noticed is that sometimes the low beam bulb socket does not want to stay fully "turned in" when you install it. Sort of a lack of friction to keep in in place. I used a zip tie to keep it in place so no moisture gets in.

But yes, seal the shit out of the new headlights and let them dry for a day before installing.

What does "upgraded OEM" mean? I see this for sale new on Ebay. Not cheap, but less that OEM
