The calibration procedure involves placing a corner reflector at a certain position relative to the sensor, then pushing a calibration button in Techstream. Ford and Jeep have their sensors in the taillights. Making the corner reflector would be trivial for someone already making armor. Just include it with the bumper.

Even though I already have the RCI hidden hitch bumper, I eagerly await your rear bumper offering. I'd even consider swapping it out, knowing that you and your team have an incredible eye for aesthetic, fit and quality.

I'm also one of those people that think it can't be done. Prove me wrong!

SSO hybrid bumper, Warn winch, RCI skid trilogy, RRW sliders, everything in the cheap/free mods thread, and of course the frame recall work.
I'm sitting at week 6, all I know is "material received". I am expecting a 12 week total time based upon their website at the time of order. Annoyingly they had a blemished one a few days later that I could have gotten immediately. Too bad I couldn't put a "if you get a blemished one like this go ahead and ship it" option on the order! It's a great looking bumper and I can't wait to get it, but pseudo-custom work takes time.

Finally got my high clearance corners installed last night but had to tweak the alignment this evening. Couldn’t get the drivers side piece quite perfect, but it’s close enough for me.

7/30, ordered at the end of the first round. Had some ordering issues so they let me put the order in 6/4.

Any advice on what to do with some slight rust appearing on a corner of my slimline? Must have has some slight damage in shipping or something. Never noticed a blemish until today and noticed it is starting to rust. I do have some bed liner paint and wonder if I can just use that to cover it?

We've since reworked the jig, give me a call at (225) 726-7979 and hit option #3 for me directly.

We have powder touch up kits, or I can message you directly and tell you where to purchase a spray paint locally. Do not use bed liner. By the way, did I send the return label for them stage 2's yet?

We send edge trim with every order to prevent the rubbing issue. All of our products are made on the exact same jig. If your bumper was crooked then that would mean every bumper would be crooked. If you want to correct the crooked bumper issue, the only true option is remounting your body to your frame as Toyota has variances with these from truck to truck.

Didn't you guys have an issue with the hoops being crooked for a batch? I know you guys took care of everyone that had that issue, but maybe that's what he's talking about.

I'm glad now I did not get the high-clearance bumper as it sounds like it's not quite polished and ready.

Yeah that was a while ago, but they definitely had an issue and were working with people to get it straight, I remember the thread about it on here.

We had an issue with the hoops being welded incorrectly and we stopped shipping the ones we found out were, and recalled all the others that had been shipped out. We are always willing as a company to rectify the mistakes we have made.

I haven't heard of anyone with the new set of stage 2s having any fitment issues as of yet and we've shipping out a few sets now. We're working on another batch so I am sure we will see feedback soon enough on the modified jig but I do feel confident about it as the customers who have received it and put them on have said they needed no shims for the flush fitment.

I have also stated in this thread, if someone feels their original set of stage 2 is inadequate they can feel free to contact me. I have posted my direct line in this thread as well as my email.

Thank you, Lee. It's still on my to-get list after I get the base portion of my bumper. One of the reasons I went with SSO was that you offer a great feature: upgrade as you can afford it!

What’s the lead time for just the stage 2 parts? Also do they work with 30inch light bar cutout slimline? I noticed you don’t make the 30inch cut out anymore. But I got mine a while back so I have the 30 inch cut out w a Baja designs s8

We just reworked the jig, reordered some new metal and are currently cranking out some sets. The website says 10-12 weeks but I also just hired another accessory welder, so I am hoping realistically soon here it will be 6-8 weeks if not shorter.

*Edit* We do still make a 30 inch cutout, and yes the stage 2's work with it. This is for 3rd gens Tacomas only.

I was wondering if it might be a good idea to use a thin sheet of plastic or rubber gasket material between the wing mount to bumper to help reduce metal on metal rubbing. Any thoughts on pros and cons?

I would maybe use a softer material but I could see this working if it's something you want.

We sure do in some time. Working on getting lead times down.

So for those of us that already have the slimline and just want to buy the wings...are there instructions on where we need to drill holes? Maybe an instructional video?
