Well now that you've explained it that way, it's totally not her fault.......

I'm sorry but if you're too stupid to not notice you've run out of gas, you're just too stupid.

I have never driven overseas but from what I see on TV Americans are the worst drivers in the world. Left lane is supposed to be fast but I’ve been stuck over 10 miles behind two fuckers side by side going the same speed. You would think truck drivers that do it for a living would be better but they’re just as bad if not worse. I drive a fire truck for a living and the level of dumbfucks is astounding.

I have an ex-girlfriend who would do something like this. I think her good looks are the only thing that have gotten her this far.

Seriously. I dailied and roadtripped an '89 Civic hatch that didn't even have a functional gas gauge from 2002 through 2009. Never once ran out of gas.

I rode motorcycles without a gauge. About 150 miles on a bike with a 5 gallon tank, probably should get gas. At least stretch and get some water, might as well get gas at the same time.

If you're too pre-occupied to notice you have NO GAS, it would be fair to assume that you aren't paying attention to details and shouldn't be driving in the first place. Poor parenting when you put yourself in the position to be stranded on the side of the road with a child because you were too "scatter brained" to notice you need gas. Not to mention how irresponsible it is to create a hazardous situation for other drivers that make sure they have gas when they have to swerve to miss a vehicle stopped on the road because they're too stupid to put gas in their car. Im a father of 3, have a career, own a business, wife owns a business and we own a house and manage a house with tenants. Never catch us running out of gas.

I live in an area where it takes about an hour drive just to get away from dumbfucks. My area is heavily refined and there are thousands of people here just for work. Not a fucking one can drive. My idea of a nice place to live is pulling out of my driveway and not seeing anyone for at least 20 miles.

Hahaha Holy fuck I make one comment OP trying to encourage OP to see both sides and the potential that a mother cares more about her child than whatever is going on with her car and ya’ll blow up.

Have a good one to all you perfect parents!

I see what you're saying and I still maintain that if you were there you would have a different opinion on the situation.

I have no doubt that her child is/was her main priority. It doesn't mean that she gets a pass to not care about anything else.

I get that, I was just asking you to maybe see all possibilities before judging who owns a vehicle. Things come up, stuff happens. We all react differently. Who knows what was going through her head.

The response wasn’t a knock on you, just those who quoted my post.

You live in Phoenix??? HAHA (I kid, I see you are in TX). I was so glad to move away from that city to a smaller town. I still work in Phoenix, and on my commute in, I can see the stupidity starting the closer I get.
