I’m pretty sure that’s Graeme’s personal truck as well as the shop show truck. I don’t see a problem with a few extra touches on your own vehicle.

I finally moved into Components Produced! got an email that my stuff got welded together and is out to powdercoat now.
Anyone know roughly their timeline from CP to Complete Notified? Trying to nail down a week or two to get out there to pick it up. Torrey said initially 8-10 weeks but after talking to them last week they pushed it out to to a full 12 weeks from In Production to Complete.
Funny thing is a lot of movement on the Leaderboard but they only went from 294 to 295 completed over the last two weeks unless that number is wrong

Yea, I have no issues with that, just odd they would submit it for critique and recognition with a model with options the regular consumer can’t get. Almost taunting. Sort of like their special CNC parts that are talked about but never come out. It’s a lot of marketing hype.

To each their own. If you can still justify your purchase, all the power to ya

With regard to pockets, I assume you are all referring to the welded pocket shown in the EP article that seems to be unique to Graeme's unit.

But, just to be sure it's clear for all those still waiting on a GFC, the 2nd gen tents or at least the current ones, have mesh pockets on the inside of the small window flaps on both sides. We have found them to be pretty usable even though they are on the window closure flap.

Ah bummer, I must have just missed these on my build. Unless I somehow overlooked them. Any chance you can take a picture?

Wait, what!? I've got new fabric and no pockets... Unless I'm blind.

Same. Guess I'm popping the top after work today to make sure I'm not going crazy.

If you must know, I don’t have one. Haven’t decided. Not sure why that matters..

But since you asked, I sure as hell am not going to invest in a product that’s falsely advertised, under delivered, and falling apart. That’s just me, you keep doing you though.

Do you prefer the cherry or orange kool-aid?

Why do you choose to hang around in the GFC thread to spread your constant negativity? Is that what gets you off?

I could have been a potential customer. But all the shortcomings kept me asking questions. Raja takes it too personal. I don’t have a vendetta against anyone trying to start a company. But when issues arise, problems exacerbate and customer support disappears or shifts blame to ‘misuse’. I’m going to question the integrity of the company.
Time and time again, shit goes wrong with not one, not two, but multiple campers and Y’all wanna keep burying your head in the sand. I guess I missed the part of a public forum that welcomes discussion and debate. Have fun with your leaking, hinge-breaking, can’t close, warped extrusion, stuck lock, tent ripping, rusting tube, cabana lumber racks with tents.

No I'm not taking it personally. It's not my company. You seem bitter to me. If you're not going to buy a GFC then just let it be. Surely you must have better things to do with your time. If you don't like the GFC, why don't you buy a Drifter? Are you just a tire kicker?
