    Take the hood off and cut the vinyl on top in a few places and I'd swear that was in my high-school parking lot next to a Maverick and a Duster.

    I really want one of these now! However, the Talbot-Lago costs more than I'd spend on a house, even if I were a billionaire. Even if I could afford to buy one in cash, I wouldn't want to...

    Why?

    For starters, the car is probably a lot less pleasant to drive than it is to look at. I'm sure it's easy enough to drive, but it lacks features we taken for granted like power steering, power brakes, and most importantly, air-conditioning. Also, you'd never want to cut one of these up to add a modern sound system...

    I still love the Talbot Lago T150 though!

    My '69 D100 lacks power steering, power brakes, and air conditioning. And it's a lot less pretty to look at. Still a blast to drive. So I do, all summer long.
