I do like and know how to cook Cuban style arroz amarillo con picadillo.

Shellfish is good. Ill eat some sushi if my friends order it or if its offered to me, but I wont order it.

Fish and chips is the only form of fish Ill eat. Get it maybe once every 2-3 years. I think its cod or tilapia mainly.

 

The Salton Sea out here in the CA desert has murdered Tilapia for me....the place is full of millions of dead Tilapia strewn about the beach and you can smell it from miles away.

If you have a few minutes and want to learn about the Salton Sea, it's a crazy place...pretty much a ghost town now but it's cool to check out. Just gotta deal with the smell of rotting fish.

If the sea ever dries up then desert cities like Palm Springs and the Coachella Valley will be uninhabitable from the toxic chemicals that will fill the air because there's been so much agricultural runoff into it for so many years.

I did my grad project out in Salton Sea back in 2011 and was there several times that summer. Enough for one lifetime.

Bombay Beach on the southern end is pretty much a ghost town but some people still live there. Interesting folk to talk to that's for sure. There are so many homes that have been abandoned for decades, we wandered around one of them and it's cupboard was still stocked with some old cans and cereal boxes from the 70's or 80s. Eerie stuff but really cool

Unfortunately most of the old abandoned cars and equipment and stuff has been removed, a lot of it taken by film studios in Hollywood to use for sets

 

Unfortunately? That’s great. No unsightly debris and they get a second life as props.

 

I replaced cam sensor on lunch today and it started 2x and immediately stalled both times then no more cam sync again

Was gonna take it to the diesel shop up the street and he told me to try replacing the sensor again with a different part number before paying to have it towed in

Wonder if they are moving from trademotion to site hosting service that most of the other Toyota online parts stores use?

Well this gas compressor isn’t any better than my 60 gallon 240v compressor. That was a waste of money renting it.

Guess this massive 185 CFM towable compressor is the next step. Blows my 10.2 CFM electric compressor out the water.

If your 60 gallon is like this, then its 15.8 CFMs @ 90 vs. 13.9 @ 90 with the gas.

 

I have a Campbell Hausfeld 60 Gal single stage compressor from 1999, it’s a 240v 30A unit. It only does 10.2 CFM @ 90
PSI.

The Gas unit is a 3 CFM difference from my electric one.
