Ok, I must say that I do love this sight as you all have helped me figure out so many maintenance related items for my truck. Of those things so far...

Noisy window howl at high on the highway

    Greasing the zerks

The AC condensate line mod with 5/8” heater hose and hose clamp

And fluid film/protectant on the underside.

    Thanks all!!!

Yep, before I even took delivery of my 2015 I bought a gallon of FF and a undercoating gun. I drove home from dealer and that same afternoon I undercoated it. Thanks to TW.

Relocates the drip line so it doesnt drip on the frame. Some guys just have wayyy too much time on their hands.

So I have added an extension to the drain line that takes the drip below the frame....but I also notice that on really hot days one of the AC lines gets nice and cold and condensation can form on it causing it to drip on a different part of the frame. I have considered wrapping it in some kind of foam....

    Any thoughts?

Lol....I did the mod specifically after my frame replacement as that spot was one of the spots rusted the most.

I figured I would just spray a nice light coat of non detergent 30weight oil on the underside and drive on some dirt roads. I've heard from a lot of folks it keeps the rust away. Sure it's dirty when you are working on it...but that will happen anyway.

Got a tin knocker friend? Get a long, 2-3' tyrap and push it up the drain tube to clear a blockage.

What exactly does the drain line get clogged with? The tyrap is a great idea.

No idea really. The first time I heard water sloshing around in the dash. AC was on but the drain hose was dry. The tyrap cleared whatever it was though.
