How do you like the Ridge Grapplers?

 

Only been two weeks but so far they're great.
So much quieter than the KO2s but we'll see how these hold up as they age. These are SL Ridge Grapplers compared to the C load KO2s so it's a much softer ride on the street/freeway.

 

Welcome guys, nice trucks! Def the best 3rd gen color, just crazy maintenance lol.

 

wish i had the cojones to take off the badges and stickers... i am too afraid ill scratch the paint.

 

i saw a very nice black TRD Pro in the dealer showroom the other day while getting my 1st gens coolant leak examined,
just an upper hose and/or bad clamps they want $280 to fix
that maintenance an 'amateur' like myself can tackle for probably a few pennies less

that Pro was an AT, do they make them in MT anymore?

current pic with new custom plates and finally did the white letter out on the newish tires for the first time in 22+ years



this is fairly new as well ... a little 3rd gen thing I had custom stenciled, that yellow banana sticker was the first thing to go lol
... had the premium UV resistant topcoat so it won't fade to gray (or at least isn't supposed to!)

 

Does 2nd gen, but have a 3rd count?

Here is my 2017 that I got two weeks ago. 6mt Sport 4x4 with the tech package.

With baby tires

Upgrade to Nitto Terra Grappler G2s 265/70/17 and also add NFabs

 

@Sippi such a great truck... what are you thinking for wheels are going to keep stock?

 

I am going to check on Monday mpg difference between the tires and then remove the air dam to run the same comparison

 

So I came very close to pulling the trigger on the 4runner SEMAs in graphite but I think I am going to wait a bit for a sale on the rims with the 2020s coming out. :fingers crossed: Plan is to keep her stock height as I drive 60 miles round trip daily and I only do light offroading in my downtime. I needed more grip with the tires for pulling the boat in and out.

 

Anyone with a black 3rd gen Off Road PlastiDip their rims yet? I'm about to do it but want to make sure the black on black looks good.

 

These trucks have been out for 4 years. There’s plenty out there. It looks good. Just take your time and do light coats, about 5. Here’s a quick google search.
