What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

Picking away at small projects...today was installing the BAMF LCA skids I got from @Unchained 5150, that were waiting for the rebuilt lower control arms I installed last week.

Yea, when i plug in the phone it fixes the time, but when i unplug it it goes back to the wrong time. I'll have to do some more digging to see whats up. Thanks for the tip though

 

Finally ordered a back up camera after tweaking my back looking out the drivers door backing into a spot. Hurray

 

I have the Volant. Could only install one Redline so I sent them back.

 

Also, what the hell. I just paid it off too. Now its...... ALL MINE

Put the new license plates on and decided I might as well swap my fogs with some LEDs thanks to @Demo man and added cleats and center console netting from @MeefZah

 

You planning on doing an in depth write up on this? That looks sick. My Amazon fogs are finally getting moisture in them and I am planning to replace them with cubes in the future.

What did you use for the plates to mount the cubes to and is that just JB Weld and some plastic paint to make them look good?

Installed some @ragofabrication bed stiffeners in prep for my up coming bedrack over softopper build. These things are stout and the packaging they came in was very nice! Total install time took me an hour max with cleanup of tools and stuff.

 

I'm guessing my OEM LED connector is different and the whole tail light unit is sealed. The non-LED units would use a 3157 bulb so your new tail light will have a 3157 blade connector, and then the OEM plug attaches to the housing. Mine won't have a 3157 connector or open hole. It's probably a square connector molded into the housing. I would have to find matching connector or cut the wiring. Eh, I knew it was too good to be true.

I don’t. My phone is on do not disturb while driving for insurance discounts. It charges pretty well. 30% in 20 minutes

 

Yeah i was joking. Thats a pretty quick charging time!

How does insurance know that you put your phone on Do Not Disturb while driving? Seems like a easy way to get a discount.

 

It’s American family insurance know your drive.

 

Found a set of Maglite mounts while cleaning out some storage containers. Attached them to the side of the driver seat for quick flashlight access.
