    None....YET!!!!
Hey guys, new member here! I have a question just picked up my 2019 SR5 Double cab a couple months ago finally after 30 years I am happily back in a Toyota 4x4. I've been out of the scene a loooong time I want too do a few add ons to my truck and need some guidance. I am looking for a decent reasonably priced light bar that will mount to the stock roof rack is there anything out there? If not any recommendations that I don't need to drill into my brand new truck lol Thank you in advance for any input!!

    I’ve seen a couple but I’m not a fan

Get a set of good ditch lights - rigid dually SS on Rago brackets. You won’t need a roof bar and the install is simple

I did the CaliRaised in bumper light bar. Seems like a decent middle priced unit. 2 years and still going.

My recommendation would be a brand called NiLight on Amazon. A fraction of the price of some 'name brand' lights for essentially the same performance.

Had their 26" bar on the front of my truck for about 2 years, still going strong as of last weekend when I sold it.

Added a pair of their LED pods as ditch lights a few months back (on Rago brackets), and just replaced the bar with 2 of their 9" round spotties up front. Unless you're racing the Baja 1000, theres no need to pay hundred of dollars on some LEDs imo

Agree. Also PIAA, KC's, Hella and many other quality brands.

Same performance is debatable. But the quality of the product isn't. The difference in price is in the quality of the LED Drivers (electronics) and the material used in the casing. The warranty on the KC's (23 years) is kinda nice too. You will not find that on Amazon.

Its not really worth the money unless you A) are going for looks / name brand or B) use these lights every single night hours on end, or in the very harshest of conditions..

Im not saying saying NiLight is super quality, but its enough to last 2+ years. For that price Ill throw it out, buy a new one, and still be saving money. Just my thoughts

I can see your point. But then again, I've got a pair of KC Daylighters on my JK for the past 12 Years. They still look good, work perfectly AND still have a warranty.

Then don't buy rigid. BD is where it's at.

If you have the money go name brand if you don't most of the cheaper brands will do more than you probably need. Caliraised is a good middle ground and they make a ton of stuff for our trucks.

Alternatively, you could get a light bar and put it behind the lower grill using CaliRaised brackets. That's what I did as I'm not a big fan of the roof bars (and I don't recall that there's a solution to attaching one to the OEM roof rack... might be wrong though).

I bought a Baja designs bar, but BD doesn't really qualify for the "decent reasonably priced".

Agree on location behind lower grill with he Caliraised brackets. A knucklescraper install, but elegant & functional when done. The Caliraised bars are bright & affordable and better designed & built than the no-names. Baja if you can afford them.
Be sure to find a switch location where you can shut them down quickly before blinding any other oncoming vehicles on the trail.

Caliraised. No issues after 2.5 years. Great customer service. Very good quality.

I've got nilight 9" round LED's and LED scene lighting on my cap. Both have been solid. And honestly, can't tell a difference from real ARB intensity lights. They were $90 for the pair v. $700+ for each light.

I have a buddy with a nilight bar and the quality of output is wayyyyy better from my BD squadron pods than his bar...maybe 4 times brighter and crisper. That being said, I drive a lot of fire roads at night so fast my passengers imbed their nails in the dash and the BD pods have saved my life more than once. My buddy has never complained about the output from his bar because it’s all the light he really needs. My pods=$400...his bar=something like $40.
