Needle bearing noise will disappear with 4wd engaged.

Ok let me add more to the equation I don’t hear that noise all the time because it’s not loud and I usually have my windows up in my room radio on ... I got some intermittent vibes...

This is the best sounding video I’ve gotten so far that’s why I finally posted one

Maybe a wheel bearing or axle shaft?
Are you able to jack up the front and spin the wheels?
The abs and other crap senses different wheel speeds.

I’d say a sensor but seeing how you felt some vibes and heard something grumbling it’s prolly a bearing.
Did it pull at all like a brake caliper sticking?

Yeah man it’s hard for any of us to diagnose from a video with a ton of wind noise. You need to jack up the front end and check things. Could be wheel bearing or axle. Could be brake related.

Really need to jack it up and see/hear what’s going on.
    Sounds like a wheel bearing?
Not from the vid really like said can’t hear much.
But if it’s been making noise and now throwing codes it needs attention.
Not sure I’d be letting the wifey drive it.
Pretty sure I wouldn’t in the first place but anyway.
    She has her own!

Mine has a Toyota Camry. Don’t think that’s happening. Besides I trust my wife with my truck.

    Lol
I don’t, she parks as close to the main entrance as she can.
It’s either brakes or gas and sets packages on paint.
I got 180k on my 08 and she still turns heads at ball!
    Good luck.
I’d definitely look at it myself or have a shop look at it.
    Something is dragging somewhere.

Going to take the truck kayaking tomorrow. Getting fixed Monday. It is a wheel bearing for sure.

    Thank you @Jeffch

I definitely wouldn't go 15k on it but get it changed out asap! A couple members sell the complete assembly on here for about what the OEM bearing costs and they are basically bolt on replacements. If not you will have to buy the new bearing and seal and press the old one off the hub and press all the new components on the old hub.

Lots of threads on here if you are unfamiliar with the process.
