Boise to Sacramento, through Tahoe area (over 7k feet at summit), and then back, got 22.5 mpg total trip with 1000lb load to Sac and 500lb or so on way back (not much weight there, but it sure ruined any aerodynamics I may have had with the tonneau cover). That's going around 70 mph except in Tahoe area (cruise control worked awesome for several hours). All stock. Maybe it's just my driving habits, but my OR does fine by me in the mpg range. Plus the majority of the drive through Nevada is pretty flat.

    Stock and staying that way
Good for fuel economy. Not so much for views.

I did not buy this truck for mpg’s. I could give a shit about fuel economy. I’m light on my gas pedal. My average is 20 per fill up. Cruises from Incline, Tahoe to my house about 200 plus miles. Speed was about 70. Averaged 25.9 mpg. Like I said these are trucks. Fuck the mpg’s. Just enjoy the truck.

This is my OR going 68-75 with two 15 minute crawling slow-downs on fairly flat freeway.

Sorry! This was the run home from a camping trip in February on winter fuel and included a couple hits of stop-n-go traffic:
    IMG_20190218_145654.jpg

Subtract 0.5mpg. The computer used to over estimate.

    I was doing 65 when I could.

Ya but do they have the 4.11's or the 3.9?????'s That little bit of gearing makes a pretty big difference in economy.

All V6 ATs have the same gearing (3.909). All V6 MTs have the same gearing (4.30).

South Texas, 80mph on the highway when on road trips, in the areas high way probably 70-75, front and rear bumpers, lift, sliders, 265/75/16 ATs, ditch lights etc. I know why I have shitty gas mileage, I was just commenting that Im getting about half yours on the highway and 10 less in the area.

Then a v4 will probably give you better mileage than a prius lol

I am pretty light on the skinny peddle. I'm coming off of a 2007 JK wrangler with lift and tire mods (3" lift / 265 tires / 4.10 gears) and I was averaging around 14 MPG. Sooo - So far I'm liking this truck.

My 16 sr got better than my 19 does but hoping but now I noticed after having the transmission checked and filled to proper level noticed a 1000 rpm drop on the same commute and average mpg on tank go up. Not sure what to think about it. But I will be monitoring it over the next couple weeks. Just done 2 days ago. Parked for weekend.

Agreed, for a laugh a Prius has a total 650 lb cargo capacity . 3 large people and it's not street legal. A Corolla, elantra has 850.

Yep so true, was at the dealer waiting for my truck to be completed and noticed a couple of large 300+ looking at a prius told a different sales person they should redirect them to a bigger car , my civic duty. :rofl:after he looked at the door post he was shocked and brought 2 others to look at it. A couple head scratchers.

Is there a way to pull up previous end of trip mpg readouts? I always open my door too quick before I get a chance to see the displayed milage, and by then it's too late and the readout has disappeared. ‍
