Been married to my first wife fer 26yrs

Oh its used. I bought it from an individual. I have only had it for a couple of months. It is MY first oil change on it since I have had it.

Finished dinner, cigar and grape juice time!!

 

That is an interesting mix. I used to love it when my dad would break out his pipe and load it up with Captain Black tobacco. Smelled so good.

 

Grape juice for me is a California Cabernet. Nothing fancy, just good. I know a cigar shop in downtown LA that has freshly rolled cigars.
I like em better than most big brands.

 

I enjoy a cigar with coffee or sometimes espresso

I wake up in the morning sometimes and look in the mirror and go: "Oh my gosh, he does exist!!!!" Either that or I just need to shave really bad.

 

Was married to my first wife for almost 25 years, then she decided to go "find herself". Cost me a lot. Grandma, ma, and aunt Rheta tried to warn me but no... Kept both boys and the house but had to pay her, a lot. Was worth it.

Hunt in SD with some other retired Navy guys for phez and we let in some AF pilots too. Neighbors patriarch George is from Wi. and in his mid 80's now. He was married for more than 60 years and always referred to his wife as his first wife. Which is how it should be... She died of cancer a few years ago and he has been struggling.

We always put on the feed bag for each other a couple of times during phez season. Don't have any pictures of George the patriarch but do of his youngest buck Kim when he brought over prime rib for us all one night.



Admiral is carving. To get a couple of stars on your shoulder boards it not only helps being a leader but a servant to your men. Fine balance that many can not do.

I usually talk to George every month or 2 and Kim asked me to keep his spirits up. Has been 3 months since I have talked to George. Thank you for the reminder, in the morning I will give George a call and make sure he is doing OK.

Cigar. Coffee. Cigar. Steak. Cream Soda. Only because Birch Beer Soda is hard to come by around here.

 

Gotta make a trip back to the Keystone we can get yah more birch beer than yah know what to do with

 

What brand of Birch Beer do you guys like? I know place that has many hard to find labels and ships conus.

Thats, uh, pretty impressive to say the least. I don't have the words to say to see that picture and describe the fellowship all of you are having there. Well done, very well done.

 

I live on the street I grew up on, a few years ago a neighbor of mine passed, he lived alone, I would sit and talk with when I had time. At his wake I learned he was a flight engineer on a b17, 24 missions over Germany in wwii. He never told me that. I miss Bob. He was a genuine American!!

 

I have been there in that situation you were in and it haunts me to think if I could have done more for someone like that man you mentioned. I know that you did what you could there. And that is more than most would do. For me, I dunno. I guess it is because of all the family I have lost. I am damned and determined now that everyday the good Lord gives me will be a day that I tell all my loved ones how much I love them. To say kind words to strangers or those that I know that might not deserve them. To give someone in need my last 5 bucks even though I wanted that for a hamburger or whatever.

I just don't want to leave a day "undone" anymore because of "me, myself" or leave things unsaid or unaccomplished for that day because I didn't feel like it or some other excuse. There might not be a next day.
