Hey guys. I just bought a 2013 tacoma. My first truck and my first post on this forum. I'm posting because the truck seems to have a suspension system that isn't stock and my truck feels much taller than most. I live in the mountains and bought it in the mountains so it makes since here but I was just curious if whenever we leave the mountains it's at all possible to put a stock system back on and that would lower it to a normal height?

If y'all need more info or have any question lemme know and I'll try to answer. I'm new here so I don't know all the lingo but I'll catch on soon!
    'Preciate it.

    Probably.

Depends on how it was done. IE, if it's a drop bracket lift, it 'can' be reversed, but not easily.

Not sure what being in the mountains vs not being in the mountains has to do with the choice of lift or no lift?

Are you saying you need the lift for offroading there, and you'd quit offroading if you were back in flatland?

If they just swapped out front struts/rear leafs/rear shocks or put in a spacer it's very easy and cheap to go back to stock, people sell stock takeoffs all the time. If they went any further than that it gets more complicated. Post pics of what you got if you can.

I’m assuming your tires are relatively stock size otherwise you would’ve posted about it, but anything larger than a 265/75/16 or a 265/70/17 and you will need new tires if you lower it back to stock height.

We really need pictures of your suspension both front and back. Or at the very least a more detailed description (is it on spacers, new coilovers, rear leaf blocks, etc)

Hopefully this helps you all. Let me know if other pics are needed. Like I said, I'm new to the world of trucks in general so it may not even be lifted. But, it does seem taller than most.

Rancho lift in front is reversible with stock. Need pics of rear to see what was done back there. Specifically leaf spring/axle area.

Why do you want to remove lift?

You have after market upper control arms which is good. Not sure on your shocks but the lift looks better than what the average lift most guys put in. You could easily sell it if you want to go stock most of us would probably keep in on .
