Before you extend look under the trailer tongue. My had about an extra four feet tie wrapped underneath.

here's some more pics of me stress testing some extreme tight turns and I still have room. Thanks again Ruggybuggy for the help I love how this setup towed. I ended up not bringing the dirtbike this go around although I loaded it up and did some test tows with the tailgate down around town and it all worked out great. Waiting on airbags before I tow with it loaded down with the bike, that'll just smooth everything out. There ended up being enough plug to work out great all but just an extreme right turn so just have to be conscious about that.

Ruggybuggy, your info and help was the main reason that landed me a short bed vs a long bed. I wanted the shorter bed but wasn't sure what I wanted to achieve was doable and practical. Now that I have it setup and tested out I'm very happy with how it all ended up.

I'm glad it all worked out for you. Before you do the airbags look into the Sumo springs. You dont have to worry about running lines and they are cheaper. I installed a set on my setup because my tongue weight is around 600lbs.

Those are very interesting. At first I thought u were referring to add a leaf setup. I’m going to look into them for sure.

Some of the members here had complained of a harsh ride using the Sumosprings. Sumosprings has since updated the design and the ride is better. I've have no complaints about the ride but made a big difference when towing.
