I hadn't posted any. I really only have them on when it snows since they have the Duratracs on them.

I'm with ya. I'm a Mobil 1 guy myself...though I do use SuperTech synthetic in some friends and family vehicles per their request. I was just explaining why that chart was showing 5w30 conventional for the 1GR engine. Still though, conventional oil is up to the task when changed regularly. But I do like the added protection of a synthetic....whether real or perceived

I've been using supertech lately. It's like 15 bucks a jug. Not saying it's as good as a major brand, but it's most likely ok.

I do use mobil 1 in my celica since it occasionally sees some pretty high speeds/rpms:anonymous:

Absolutely. Warren Distribution produces SuperTech, Amazon Basics, Meijer's house brand and others I'm sure. It's an excellent oil and a great value. Both of my FIL's vehicles have spent most of their lives on SuperTech conventional...though I did switch the the High Mileage synthetic formula about 3 years ago. Both are well north of 100k miles. Zero issues

My 2015 is pretty much stock. I added a few things; predator steps, roof rack, 3rd gen wheels, mud flaps, pro headlights, ultimate headlight harness, & KC fogs. So far I’m liking this truck!

Well, I've convinced myself to change out my lower ball joints. I checked them out today, both sides have ripped boots.

Probably be a couple weeks down the road, have to get them ordered. It's pretty rusty, so probably nothing will go smooth. I'll pressure wash and soak with penetrating oil a couple days before.

I've never messed with ball joints but it looks simple enough. I watched one video where the guy used a hammer, another used the ball joint puller. Not sure what I'll try yet.

It's all good man! Our trucks are (mostly) stock, it's Friday, and life is good! Let's agree to disagree on personal oil choices and crack a brewski!

I've got a $20 BJ seperator from Harbor Freight that's never let me down....though I've never used it on a Taco.
