Now I cannot wait to see that. When you get done with that I’d like you to build my truck. Haha

depending on price, would be interested, but from what I have seen it is going to be pretty reasonable.

Plug an play is the ONLY way to mod the electrical system.:thumbsup:

Plug-N-Play Power Window Regulator Master Window Switch Harness

As for the last wire, my Plug-N-Play Power Window Regulator Master Window Switch Harness will Connect directly to the Factory OEM Connector inside the Door in order to communicate with the Factory ACC. The ACC Wire connects directly to the the Factory OEM O1 Connector. This would be Pin #13 in the OEM Power Window Regulator Master Window SW Connector and it will then have an OEM Terminal crimped on the other end that will need to be inserted into your OEM O1 Connector pictured below.

Going to finish installing everything on Sunday.
Just wanted see how the puddle lights sit.
Not much of a gap, but it is there, about the same as with my OEM.

Can someone clear something up- if those that install the puddles on an aftermarket mirror and there’s a gap, what’s stopping you from using your oem mirrors? Wouldn’t that be the same as the diy kit or is there more of a difference in what’s included

The outer four clips all engage.
    No center clip anymore.
The center clip broke when it snapped into my OEM mirrors.

You had a gap even on your OEM? I put a set on an OEM set and I don’t remember seeing a gap at all. I’ll take a picture of my camera pods I’ll be offering. You guys will just have to buy my camera pods and install my system and then mount your puddle lights somewhere else ;) :rofl:jk side note: I think they still look badass!!!

My OEM mirrors do not have power folding.
My OEM mirrors are not capable with the DIY power folding kit.
These power folding mirrors were built using aftermarket mirrors as a base by @KTJO 4x4 .
Since they are the only ones that match our mirrors while being compatible with the power folding motor.

Thus, if I want power folding mirrors with puddle lights, this is my only option.

Some people have a nonexistant to large gap, cause of a variety of manufacturing variables.

One thing that I have notice, on the driver side, the puddle light is pressing against the wireloom and the plastic frame or the hinge assembly.
When I adjusted the wireloom, and press hard I can get everything to set.
But the gap is most likely a result of the puddle light getting pushed on, in my case.

Kings, 275/70/17, a few custom items, lots of Meso mods.
Yep, finding that perfect mirror or the motor took us awhile. Purely by accident I got a set when building my ultimate mirrors.

Correction my man...you can do Power Folding now with your OEM!!! You just have to Drill three holes in your OEM Hinge and have them match up exactly to where your aftermarket holes are located. If you need help, let me know. The easiest way I have found to do it is to set the one right next to it and then just drill the hole my eye balling it. I can also send you a picture and that does the same trick.

    Ohhhhhh this might change things.
But at the same time, do I want to go through all the work.
Since I can just swap my old mirrors for the power mirrors in minutes.
    Decisions, decisions.

Response in bold in the quote above

I thought since there was a diy kit in the works that you could use your oem mirrors. Now I’ll have to figure out if I have capable mirrors for the diy

I still want to do these when funds are available but not for the whole mirror pkg

Well I guess I should refresh more :D

So nothing to look out for on what mirror you currently have? All trims and all pkg (bsm/non) are capable with slight modifications?

But would you really be swapping back and forth between mirrors (I guess unless your selling the truck and transferring)?

Could you make the aftermarket mirror your stock mirror? Swapping everything over so if you do sell/transfer you can keep the oem folding and put the aftermarket non folding on

There now is a DIY kit. Option 1 I think.
    Option 2&3 are whole mirrors.

I chose option 2 package A, since mine is non-tech.
Also because the DIY kit at that time was kind of not set in stone, if it was possible or not.

What do you mean by aftermarket mirrors your stock mirrors?
Initially I was planning on just swap the OEM for the power (aftermarket) mirrors, then throw the OEMs lol

Sorry. So you have 2 mirrors

    Oem (non folding)
    Aftermarket (folding)

Was saying swap whatever is needed between them (internals) to make the oem fold. Then that would make the aftermarket non folding. So if you decided to sell or transfer the oem folding mirrors you could swap them out with your now aftermarket non folders

If that makes any better sense
