Yours is built and on its way. I did a final test fit on my truck before shipping and the passenger side end-plates moved a bit and I wasnt happy with how it looked so I cut it apart, ground down the welds and replated the end all straight and lined up so that took a little more time as well, but it came out really nice in the end.
And I actually ended up liking the custom tube that you had me do enough that I think I'm going to throw some on my own bumper just like it! My girlfriend was like "that looks sick! You need that on yours" so I think I'm gonna listen to her. lol :D:cool:

Yeah, I'll upload it later Wes. The side tubes ended up having to be a little shorter, they are 16" overall, but it still looked really good.

I just noticed there is not much clearance between the bumper and the fender on this truck but on the white truck there is clearance and he still has the fender flares on. is there a reason for this? If I get one I still want to use my stock fender flares

Quite simply, he bought the bumper that was my prototype and didnt have slotted mounting holes for adjustment. The bumpers are all CNC cut now and have slotted mounts for adjusting how much gap you want between the bumper and fenders. :)

Sorry guys, I was out of town down to the GF's parents place for the long weekend.

What ever you want man! I'd say somewhat similar to what I've already built just because its the style i'm going for so 3/16" plate with a winch mount and whatever you want for tube. Maybe some tube kinda similar to one of the styles Expedition 1 offers on the FJ?
Frame braces are good, they were simpler to cut/bend than I thought they were going to be so it was a bit of a nice surprise. The ones with your bumper are one of my prototype sets so the hole where the bolt goes through the frame isnt slotted/CNC cut like they will be from here on, but they should mount fine.

I'll find out and then PM or text you Jason.
    Yep!
And I'll throw some in with any bumper for those that want them. They beef the exsisting frame mounting points so the frame tabs dont bend under extreme tugging/winching.
Only downside is that the swaybar might interfere with where they mount on the frame (I dont have mine on so they were designed to work without it) but if you feel you need them for the extreme use, you probably have the swaybar off for better off road flex anyways.

That would be cool. Bumper looks great but I always try to only add minimal weight.

Agreed. Its about as small and tough as possible the way it sits now, But doing a version out of 3/8" and 1/4" aluminum would knock off some more weight for the guys that wont be bashing rocks as much as me or some of the other hard 'wheelers ordering one. Just need a spoolgun setup for my welder and I'd be good to go.

    for a progress update:
Cullen: had to mod some more plates slightly in order to fit without needing to fill gaps etc, picking them up this afternoon and working on the bumper more this weekend. It'll ship this week.
Jon: Building yours now. Doing a bunch of welding, next is the sanding then throwing it on a pallet this weekend. Hope to ship it Monday. :)
Larry: picking up the plates from the CNC shop on monday. :)
